About Me

  • Delft, South Holland, The Netherlands
  • Italian-American dual citizen; legally authorized to work in the US and EU.

I am a highly motivated applied mathematics graduate student with strong communication skills. I have done my best train for the demands of both fast-paced working environments and research-intensive positions, with a highly-applicable background.

Who Am I?

Hi! I'm Nic, a second-year graduate student at TU Delft, studying applied mathematics.

I love bringing out the best in people and seeing those around me flourish, and I'm very keen on making sure things run smoothly outside of just the purely technical side of things. I love making people laugh and I love working in a team.

At any given point in time, I'm probably researching, improvising on a piano, writing, editing videos, producing music, connecting with people, experimenting with a side project, or touring the Netherlands by bike. Most of my research interests relate to evolutionary algorithms, emergence, theoretical biology, artificial intelligence, economics, and quantitative finance. Ask me about my self-directed research on novel neuroevolutionary algorithms!
